Tim Cassidy has
extensive real estate sales experience and property management
experience in
the Mission Bay area of San Diego, California.
He has been selling, marketing, and managing real estate — including
homes, fine home estates,
apartment buildings, and commercial properties — in
Mission Bay and throughout the San Diego area since
1987.

Tim
holds a Juris Doctor law degree (J.D.) and a Bachelor's degree in Law. While
attending law school, Tim was a certified law clerk with the State Bar Association,
handling
mainly
real
estate matters for a local law firm. Tim also interned on Capitol
Hill in Washington, D.C. while attending UCSB. — An
Outstanding Educator —
Tim was voted "Outstanding Instructor" at
UCSD in San Diego, CA, where he has taught Real Estate Law and Real Estate
Principles since 1992. He also serves as an advisor for
the new Certificate in Real Estate program at UCSD. Tim has
taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Law, Business Ethics,
and Business Writing for many years. And he has taught Contracts to Realtors
at the San Diego Association of Realtors.

holds a number of certificates and designations, including the ACCREDITED
RESIDENTIAL MANAGER® (ARM®) designation
from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) and

Tim has received commendations from the Mayor, City Council Members,
and the County Board of Supervisors Members for his contributions as previous
Chair of the local Planning Board and the Founding President of the local Chamber
of Commerce. He currently sits on the San Diego County Assessment Appeals Board,
having been appointed by the San Diego Board of Supervisors in 2000.

Mission Bay spans 4,600 acres (almost evenly divided between land
and water), including the 4,235.6-acre Mission Bay Park. The park features
27 miles of shoreline, including 19 miles of sandy beaches. East Mission
Bay Drive borders Mission Bay to the east, Sea World Drive is to the
south, and Mission Boulevard is to the west. Grand Avenue to the north
is the closest major street.
Motorboaters, sailboaters, rowers, kite fliers, waterskiers, picnickers,
joggers, and swimmers all use Mission Bay year-round. The area features
abundant free parking (which usually fills up on warm summer days)
as well as fire rings for barbecues. Mission Bay, which was dredged
from marshland in 1944, remains home to many species of birds, fish,
and other animals. A nature reserve is located at the northern end
near Crown Point.
Nearby neighborhoods and attractions include Mission Beach, Crown Point,
Ocean Beach, Morena, Pacific Beach, Fiesta Island, and Sea World. |
